Georgia Pauline (Hamm) Utter, 91, Martinsville, passed away at 4:25 a.m. on Saturday, March 10, 2012 at the Grandview Health & Rehabilitation Center in Martinsville.

She was born on Tuesday, May 25, 1920 in Martinsville, Indiana to the late George N. Hamm and Lula (Martin) Hamm Lazelle.

On August 15, 1937 she married Cyril E. Utter and he passed away on September 10, 1979. She was a homemaker and member of the Evangelical Methodist Church in Martinsville.

Survivors include her son, George Elmo Utter and wife Sharon of Martinsville; daughters, Phyllis Richardson and husband Morris of Martinsville, Shirley Malcom and husband James of Martinsville and Carolyn Burkhart and husband Steve of Martinsville; 14 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; two great great grandchildren.

She was also preceded in death by her son, Gary Utter; daughter, Joyce Bales; several brothers and sisters.

Graveside services will be 11:30 a.m. on Wednesday, March 14, 2012 at Nebo Memorial Park in Martinsville with Rev. Ralf Bergmann officiating. Visitation will be 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 13, 2012 at Costin Funeral Chapel.
